Maximum thickness (not including head) is 2.5 mm. This size is seen in the smaller snakes of the rings pictured above, which are also the rings modeled on the women's hands.

In my experience, sizes US 4 - 8/9 looks best (according to the size ratio seen in the photos above) at 2.5 mm and sizes larger than US 8/9 - 15 work best at 3.0 - 3.5 mm. If you prefer a heftier ring and would like a thicker snake, or on the other hand if you prefer a more delicate look and would like something thinner, send me a message and we can discuss options/prices.
